The Abakaliki Golf Club was established in 1998 and is fast becoming one of the most popular golf destinations in Nigeria. It is the only course in the country with a green that is named after Major General Bob Chukwu. The course was recently greened and opened to the public. In addition to the course, it hosted the annual Open Tournament, in which winners were awarded cash prizes in kind.
Fati Abubakar amusement park
The Fati Abubakar amusement park in the state of Ebonyi is a place where children and adults can have a great time. Salt is another resource found in the state. Many towns in the state are home to salt lakes. Ebonyi has the largest salt deposit in Nigeria, making it the state’s official slogan, “Salt of the Nation”. Salt is used in the production of various chemicals. It is also used to preserve foods. In addition, it is used in tanning and skin bleaching.
